RNS Cancer Ball Donations – Thank You

With 1 in 2 people diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime the chances are we all know someone who is battling this disease. We often see the
challenging health implications that cancer has on the individual however, what is often unseen is the financial and personal impact cancer has on the patient and their family.
The patient assistance unit was conceived in 2007 by a group of social workers at the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH), who saw first hand the financial devastation of cancer, and decided to do something about it. The Cancer Ball is now in its 5th year and has raised over $150,000 dollars to date.
